This page is designed to be a resource for parents.
HINTS:
- Read to your child, or have your child read at least 20 min. a day. Research has shown that this greatly improves a child's reading fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
- Get the Ball Rolling: A fun way to help your child discuss his or her day is to sit facing each other. Roll a tennis ball to your child and ask him or a her a question about his or her day. Then have your child answer and ask you a question as he or she rolls the ball back to you.
